Average Retail Price of Electricity for Commercial Use

In this post we will compare the state-by-state utility price for small businesses and other commercial operations. Please note that the pricing is in cents per kilowatt hour and as usual we will look at two years: 2008 and 2009 because they do vary.

2008

*Idaho has the best rate at 6.03 cents per kilowatt hour, barely edging out Missouri’s 6.09

*Hawaii has the highest rate at 32.82 cents per kilowatt hour.

2009
