Electricity Bills Skyrocket!!!
I just got a big surprise on my electricity bill this last week and I’m still trying to figure out what happened. Apparently the kilowatt hours I used went up drastically but that usually happens in the summer – not in the winter – when the air conditioning is on. While I’m not sure what the electricity sucking culprit is – I was not too surprised to find an article from USA Today stating that electricity bills are skyrocketing across the nation.
According to the article electricity rates have increased for a 5th year…yikes! You know there has to be point when people start looking at solar and wind. I know there are people ahead of the curve – and in some states its actually worth it – but for many states where there aren’t many sunny days and not enough state incentives its still not worth it – it seems.
